It is handcrafted and is our own design here at The Spirit of Country. The rack has a nice size shelf on top with 2 towel bars. The top is a done with a nice scroll design with a hole for hanging. Back hangers can also be attached. The size is 21.5" long, 12.75" wide and 4" deep. It has been painted black with olde mustard over it. We sanded to distress it to give a very time worn look. The towel bars are inserted into the sides and not nailed. This makes it very sturdy. They used it to climb into their bed. It is done in Savanna Red over black and then distressed to appear timeworn. Savanna Red is such a nice historical color, I just love it. The under bars are done in a criss cross design just like the antique shaker stool was. This gives more stability for the bench. The legs have a "V" cut at the bottom. Nice to see a different style look for a bench. The size is good for your primitive farmhouse table or to use by the fireplace. Shown is 30" long, 7.5" wide and stands about 5.5" tall. We make a smaller one to fit on a round table too that is 20" long. I have shown it displaying a larger doll and a bowl of ragballs with houses and a candle. It is cute with an oval basket full of dried flowers too. You can use it on your counter tops, on top of an old hutch or even on your fireplace mantle to display so many different primitive items.
